The Bluenoser is a home for stories, ideas, and projects rooted in Canadian experience.
This site serves as a central hub connecting books, creative work, and ongoing projects that explore wildlife, science, imagination, and the places that shape us.

From children’s stories to reflective writing for adults, the work gathered here draws on real-world observation and a respect for how nature, curiosity, and lived experience intersect. Each project stands on its own, while also contributing to a larger body of work built around learning, storytelling, and thoughtful exploration.

Thanking a Few Great Canadians for Their Help

Along the way, a number of thoughtful Canadians offered their time, insight, and encouragement. Whether through conversation, collaboration, or quiet guidance, their support helped shape the direction of this work. This space exists, in part, because of their generosity.

With his permission, The Bluenoser is proud to reference and use his image in educational and storytelling projects that encourage young people to explore science, ask better questions, and imagine what’s possible beyond Earth. This acknowledgment is shared with respect for his contributions to science, education, and thoughtful public engagement.
